Some years ago I worked at Sears. I did merchandising and pricing stuff. One day I had to make a stack of some TVs that were on sale. The boxes were huge because that’s back when them fat a** tube TVs were still being sold. And yes those boxes were hella heavy.
I asked my coworker to help me lift the boxes. I had about 4 of them. We placed 2 down. When we got to the 3rd, the TV slid straight out the bottom of the box. The box wasn’t taped up properly. We looked around to see if anyone had saw us. To our surprise, there wasn’t one person anywhere. No other coworkers, managers or customers anywhere.
We hurried up and slid the box right on top and taped it up. We put it on the stack, placed the 4th one in front of it and we took off.
So dear customer who had purchased that TV without some sort of warranty or protection plan…BLOOP!
